Chard Town Council, Officers and Councillors alike would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who attended this event.
There were in the region of 50 people during the course of the evening with a lively atmosphere.
Also in attendance were members of Somerset Council, members of CARG and members of the Youth Council who played an active part in making the evening a successful ‘first’.

The current ‘Speed Watch’ project | Collecting data on how fast people are travelling – This is occurring in multiple roads in Chard to make a case for the installation of a Speed Indicator Device – SID and volunteering to help. |
Promotion of upcoming events taking place at the Guildhall | Greater awareness of the availability of groups using the Guildhall and the opportunity to join them. |
Culturally Chard | Increased awareness of what Culturally Chard has achieved over the past 3 years |






Given the success of this event we aim to hold another one in June or July. Further details will be released on the website nearer to the time.
