Over the last 3 years Culturally Chard has supported, developed and delivered 140 events, plus multiple projects and partnerships in the town. Have a look at the below 3 minute film to get a taste of what it’s all been about.
Culturally Chard celebrates the local character, culture, history and heritage of Chard, aiming to make the town a more attractive, engaging and vibrant place for people to live, work and spend time. It is now moving forward with the newly formed Culturally Chard Network starting this April, to continue bringing the community together through heritage, arts and music. If this sounds like something you would like to get involved with, visit culturallychard.org for more information.
Culturally Chard was initiated through the Chard High Street Heritage Action Zone cultural programme, funded by Historic England, Arts Council England and the National Heritage Memorial Fund, Spring 2021- Spring 2024.
